Okay, I have completely thrown out my plans! I have currently ordered the motors, props, ESC, APM (inc GPS/compass) and frame from Unmannedtech.co.uk. They have been really helpful so far, having put the items on reserve for me while the motors and props come back into stock – hopefully in about 2 weeks or so.
So the plan is now about a month and a bit ahead of schedule as I have effectively combined months 1, 2 and 5 together into this order. Next month I will be getting the radio gear and the batteries and charger, but rather than being able to just fly the machine manually I should be able to start using the GPS waypoint functions. Loiter and RTL are the two that most interest me as a very novice pilot
